If you are looking for a cosy chalet in a family friendly resort you've come to the right place!
We appreciate how important time with your family is and know it can be tricky choosing a holiday that suits everybody’s needs, so getting the right advice and assistance goes along way towards having a good time.
We are situated in the village of La Tania , a very family friendly resort in Courchevel, part of the Three Valleys. The centre is car free with plenty of shops and restaurants to look around. The piste runs right through the village and has a fantastic beginners slope with a free lift, great for both children and adults making their first tracks - and superb for sledging on once the lifts have closed for the day!
Our chalet is just a few minutes walk from the green and blue pistes, and ten minutes walk into the village centre where the lifts leave from and the ski schools meet.
There is a good selection of ski schools and childcare services based in resort, allowing the more experienced to have some time to travel further into Courchevel and the Three Valleys.
We encourage our guests to rent their skis from Ski Higher, a shop based in the village. They offer a fantastic service where they come to our chalet to fit your equipment, deliver it to our bootroom and then collect it from the chalet at the end of your stay. A very hassle free way to get organised - especially if you have children.
You'll be pleased to know that discounts for children and families are available on both Courchevel and Three Valleys lift passes .
For those family members that don’t ski there are plenty of other activities in and around La Tania and Courchevel e.g. woodland walks - with snow shoes if you fancy it, swimming, indoor climbing etc. There is a free bus that stops in each of the villages allowing you to explore at your leisure.
Inside the chalet there is plenty to keep both adults and children occupied. We have a selection of books and games not to mention internet access and a large selection of films and music to keep you entertained.
Skiing and snowboarding both require a lot of energy so food is a very important part of your holiday. It is crucial that children particularly refuel properly after an energetic day on the snow. We offer a selection of children’s meals to satisfy the most particular palate and are happily flexible with children’s meal times - children are of course more than welcome to eat the adult’s menu at the adult’s dinner time.
